Also, all moving parts are checked and lubricated, with worn-out parts replaced to keep the machine running smoothly.”
Virus pressure
Virus pressure has been a major headache for growers. This makes good hygiene and a clean greenhouse absolutely crucial. That's why it's necessary to thoroughly clean the greenhouse during the change of the crop. Steenks Service has various applications that can help with this. However, the point is to stay clean, according to Wouter: "If you do not have a good hygiene policy during cultivation, there is a good chance that you will get and spread a virus or disease. A solution for this is a disinfection 'route' that keeps diseases and viruses out of the facility. An additional solution is a baptismal container on the pipe rail trolley, which prevents spread within a company."
