eLearning course on “Achieving market access for plants and plant products” now available in Russian

The IPPC Plant Health Campus has reached a new milestone in its mission to expand global phytosanitary knowledge, launching its first eLearning course available in Russian. The course reflects the Campus's ongoing commitment to broadening its multilingual training offer and making plant health expertise accessible to a wider international audience.

Designed for national plant protection organizations, exporters, and phytosanitary experts, the course provides a structured walkthrough of the process involved in opening new export markets for plants and plant products, with a focus on minimizing trade disruptions along the way.

Participants will gain a thorough understanding of the rights and obligations that national plant protection organizations hold when trading plants and plant products, with particular attention to pest prevention. The course also covers practical strategies for gaining market access while keeping trade hindrances to a minimum, as well as approaches for sustaining trade and restoring market access in the aftermath of a pest outbreak.

The course can be accessed in English, French, and Russian.
