Tuprotec has introduced the C1 Mobile Disinfection Cart—a unit that delivers ozone-enriched water to thoroughly clean and disinfect surfaces, without the need for chemicals or hot water. This compact, mobile unit offers growers a flexible solution for cleaning greenhouse glass, processing equipment, water basins, rinse tanks, and storage tanks.

Powerful disinfection with ozone
At the heart of the C1 is its ozone system, which enriches standard horticultural water with ozone. "Ozone is the most powerful disinfectant available," explains Lies, "because it acts instantly upon contact, you get a high level of disinfection without any residual waste. That makes the solution not only effective, but also environmentally friendly."
The unit delivers water at a rate of 85 liters per minute—more than enough for thoroughly cleaning large surfaces or multiple areas in a single day. And thanks to the built-in booster pump, a strong spray is guaranteed even when water pressure is low.

What makes the C1 truly stand out is its mobility. "It really is a cart," explains Lies. "You simply wheel it to where you need it, ideal for large greenhouses or when you need to clean multiple areas."
The controls are user-friendly, with clear buttons and system status indicators for easy monitoring. At its core, the unit features a microprocessor-controlled ozone system with soft start and self-diagnosis, ensuring consistent ozone production. It also includes a built-in oxygen concentrator that delivers 93% pure oxygen—essential for maintaining a stable ozone level.
Robust and easy-to-maintain design
The C1 is built with sustainability and user convenience in mind. It features a welded stainless steel tube frame and a waterproof stainless steel exterior, making it durable and ideal for wet environments.
"They even included a built-in tool basket," says Lies. "Perfect for neatly storing the hose and spray nozzle."
Maintenance has also been carefully considered. The C1 is easy to access for servicing, while all critical components are fully enclosed to ensure safe operation in damp conditions. An added bonus is the separately controlled ozone gas output. This allows users to gas and preserve sealed tanks or containers, offering a chemical-free alternative to sulfur dioxide.
