Lib Dem party visit Glinwell

"If we leave on No Deal in October it will be at the worst time for these growers"

On Tuesday 16th April, Glinwell welcomed Sir Vince Cable and Daisy Cooper from the Lib Dem party and members of the NFU to their Smallford head office.

A good afternoon, with a tour of the glasshouses on site, a discussion on food standards, the agriculture bill and labour post-Brexit, and a visit to the new Smallford Farm Shop to try the grower's produce.

After his visit, Sir Vince Cable tweeted “If we leave on No Deal in October it will be at the worst time for these growers and many others.” Daisy Cooper also tweeted “Really important issues around food standards and the agriculture bill.”
