Dutch cooperative The Greenery has welcomed Konsman Vegetables B.V. as a new affiliated grower. The partnership strengthens The Greenery's position in open-field vegetables and contributes to the development of a future-proof grower network.
Konsman Vegetables is a family business run by young entrepreneur Robbin Konsman, with multiple growing locations primarily in the Westland region. The company cultivates open-field vegetables across approximately 20 hectares, with a broad assortment of leafy crops. The business has built a reputation around entrepreneurship, innovation, and a strong focus on quality and efficiency.

Careful approach
The partnership developed gradually. Following initial meetings with Leon Duijvesteijn, grower relations manager at The Greenery, and Dennis van Klinken from the open-field commercial team, the two parties held several discussions about potential collaboration. A trial period followed, during which the full commercial and operational process was carried out according to The Greenery's working methods, in close cooperation with Van Klinken. That period gave both parties the confidence to formalise the relationship.

For Konsman Vegetables, the decision to join The Greenery aligned with the company's ambitions to grow and professionalise. The cooperative's grower-centric approach, combined with transparent pricing structures and a strong market position, were decisive factors.
