Many years ago, the owner of Millenniumsoils Coir moved to Canada with the intent of supplying Coconut Coir from Sri Lanka to the North American market.
In those early years Millenniumsoils Coir had gone through many years of trials with universities, growers, and researchers to prove the benefits of coconut coir. However, this hard work paid off with sales in the early years to cut flower growers and soil mixers in North America. These sales eventually increased to not only cut flower growers and soil mixers, but also reached out to vegetable growers, hop growers, environmental services, and even reptile breeders.
Years later Millenniumsoils Coir spent time developing mixes specifically for the greenhouse vegetable market.
In 2012 Millenniumsoils Coir purchased land and built new offices, warehouse and research greenhouse. With this new facility Millenniumsoils Coir is able to continue testing its Growbags under a variety of conditions and crops to achieve the optimal blends for each crop. Produce from these crops is then donated to local organizations to help out those in need.
Today, Millenniumsoils Coir continues to develop new products and markets. It has also invested in obtaining ISO 9001:2015, GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice), and OMRI (Organic Material Review Institute) certifications.
In recent years Millenniumsoils Coir has begun to expand more into new markets and new countries. Expanding from the early days of serving Canada and the United States, to holding the largest market share in Mexico. Today Millenniumsoils Coir sells its product all over the world.
