Panoramix and Tentación
Panoramix arrives at Expolevante at a critical stage of its launch. This pear tomato for export, with intermediate resistance to ToBRFV and TSWV, is being introduced to the field with support from the province's leading cooperatives, particularly around Nijar. Its uniformity, firmness, and excellent post-harvest qualities, along with a consistent size of 100-110 g, make it a variety with strong potential for the upcoming seasons.

In watermelon, Tentación faces a crucial year following strong results in its initial trials. This seedless black variety stands out for its high sugar content, crunchy texture, and uniformity, with a size of 6-8 kg, positioning it as an option with great commercial potential.

Jarama and the cocktail segment complete the range.
CapGen Seeds will introduce Jarama, its new Dutch cucumber, emphasizing productivity, fruit quality, and consistency.

Additionally, the company will demonstrate its dedication to its specialties with the pre-commercial cocktail CGT3582, which blends resistance to ToBRFV, a vibrant red color, and excellent post-harvest shelf life.

The big bet: "Los Guardianes del Pimiento" pepper range
The primary focus will be on the new "Los Guardianes del Pimiento" range, a line that encompasses all crop cycles and offers resistance to powdery mildew (Lt) and nematodes (Ma, Mi, Mj). The varieties include:

- Cancerbero, for early cycle (GG-GGG).
- Arquero, for medium cycle (15-30 July).
- Vigía and Vigilante, for late cycles.

It's a range created to provide consistent productivity, uniformity, and resistance to high temperatures.

The new peppers range, "Los Guardianes del Pimiento," is primarily targeted at cultivation areas like western Almeria. Expolevante serves as a key platform to promote these developments at the provincial level, emphasizing the growing importance of knowledge sharing between regions.

Commitment to the growers
At Expolevante, CapGen Seeds will present new varieties and showcase a comprehensive renewal of its catalog, the result of continuous work in genetic improvement and adaptation to growers' current needs.
