Princess Anne recently made an official visit to Malaysia and Singapore. In Kuala Lumpur, the Princess visited local businesses in her role as President of Emerging Leaders' Dialogue, Asia. The Emerging Leaders' Dialogue is network of leaders in Business, Labour, Government, and Civil Society who are passionate about developing the capability of future leaders in communities and countries across the Commonwealth.
The Princess, President of the Royal Agricultural Society of the Commonwealth, visited innovative farms in Singapore such as Sky Greens which is the world’s first low carbon, hydraulic driven vertical farm.
HRH Princess Anne toured Sky Greens vertical farm facilities on 2nd November 2016. Mr Jack Ng, CEO of Sky Urban Solutions Holding, shared with Princess Anne his vision of sustainability in food production for urban cities and Sky Urban’s various solutions designed to meet such challenges in the next 5 to 10 years.
