Premier Tech has received the 2026 CEAC Mission Award from the Controlled Environment Agriculture Center (CEAC) at the University of Arizona. The award recognizes outstanding efforts and contributions supporting the CEAC's education, research, and outreach programs in controlled-environment agriculture.
According to the CEAC, the recognition reflects Premier Tech's sustained engagement with the Center's mission and collaboration with the CEAC community. The Center noted that these contributions have been strengthened in large part by the efforts and active engagement of Dr. Jose Chen Lopez, Premier Tech Horticulture Specialist and a University of Arizona alumnus, who has helped support several CEAC initiatives and foster ongoing collaboration.

Dr. Chen Lopez represented Premier Tech at the ceremony and shared a message of gratitude to the mentors who shaped his professional journey, including Dr. Jensen and Dr. Giacomelli.
Premier Tech stated that the award reflects shared priorities between the CEAC and the company, including practical innovation, knowledge transfer, and measurable outcomes for growers, enabled through long-term partnerships between industry and academia.
