Ulanqab Hongfu Modern Agriculture Industrial Park purchased the Trutina crop scale to realize multi-base collaborative, in-depth management

Ulanqab Hongfu Modern Agricultural Industrial Park is located in Chahar Right Front Banner, Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia. The total planned area of the project is more than 30 hectares. It is one of the core planting bases that Hongfu Agriculture invested in and constructed in 2020.

Hongfu Agriculture's Ulanqab base has a comprehensive plan to build a 1 million square meters modern intelligent greenhouse. At present, the first phase of the 320,000-square-meter intelligent greenhouse and the R&D, processing and packaging workshops, and other ancillary facilities are about 30,000 square meters. It is one of the projects with the country's largest single area of intelligent greenhouse. The first phase of the greenhouse mainly grows tomatoes, bell peppers, and other crops and produces nearly 12,000 tons of fresh fruits and vegetables every year.

The Hongfu agricultural technical team has been deeply involved in greenhouse planting for many years and has always insisted on scientific planting to improve product quality and yield, reduce energy waste, and use digital means to optimize greenhouse planting management.

In order to help technicians improve decision-making efficiency and reduce uncertainty, in early 2021, Hongfu introduced the Trutina crop system at the Daxing production base. After more than half a year of good experience using Trutina, the Hongfu agricultural technical team decided to continue introducing Trutina in the first-phase greenhouse of the Ulanqab base, which was put into production in 2021, to help the Ulanqab base successfully achieve production and quality goals.

For the Hongfu agricultural technical team, the Trutina crop system is different from the normal substrate scale. It can provide a number of sensors, including monitoring temperature, EC, and other factors. Only one set of equipment can help technicians solve irrigation-related data collection and calculation to quickly guide irrigation strategy changes and improve management and resource utilization. Through the data on biomass, rhizosphere EC, rhizosphere temperature, water absorption, and other data visually displayed by Trutina, technicians can quickly analyze the causes of problems such as fruit cracking, and improve crop weight loss by adjusting irrigation and environmental control strategies, thereby optimizing the utilization of crop resources.

For senior growers like the Hongfu technical team, Trutina's in-depth data processing capabilities are the icing on the cake. Using the multiple crop status data calculated by Trutina in the background, technicians can further analyze and more accurately understand the crop water demand and root environment so as to reduce the yield loss caused by the inability to adjust the strategy in time each period.

It is worth mentioning that, for greenhouse growers with multiple production bases like Hongfu, Trutina can also aggregate all the data of each base to the cloud for simultaneous viewing, which allows for conducting horizontal comparisons and realizing the collaborative management of multiple bases.

At present, the second and third phases of the Hongfu Ulanqab base are still under construction. In the near future, Hongfu Ulanqab Base is expected to form a world-advanced, nationally-leading, regional high-tech facility in agricultural technology and equipment integration innovation highland, demonstrating and leading the development of national facility agriculture.
