Ms. Jin Qiqi, the technical director of the Shanghai Beiguo Fruit and Vegetable Cooperative, said: “Our machine is based on the same principle as the reverse osmosis water purifier used for home-use, which means that the machine can basically achieve the effect that people can drink directly as well which can meet the standard for drinking. This is based on a consideration of the quality of the grown vegetables. At the same time, it also facilitates precise fertilization and helps to control the entire production process."

Beiguo Cooperative independently developed high-quality, low-cost, and high-efficiency aquaponic planting systems. In the early stage, the team realized the low-input and low-labor leafy vegetable floating board hydroponic planting model. Among them, the hydroponic planting model of leafy vegetables solves practical problems such as pesticide residues, soil deterioration, and environmental pollution. The complete recycling of water and fertilizers greatly reduces the utilization rate of water resources, maximizes the utilization rate of fertilizers, and has no efflux.
