Nursultan Bulut, who grows strawberries in a greenhouse n the Mesebuku District, recently got a visit from the District Director of Agriculture and Forestry Vedat Aydogan and the Agriculture Engineer Fatih Kale.
The strawberry production started strawberry cultivation in a 504 square meter greenhouse within the scope of the Modernization of Ordu Province Agriculture Project.
Vedat Aydogan stated: "We helped the entrepreneur here who established her greenhouse with the project prepared by Ordu Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, which was supported by DOKAP. We provide information about the activities and targets of the new season. I thank our farmers for their efforts and exemplary work, and wish them good luck."
Grower Nursultan Bulut remarked "A strawberry plant is sensitive to excessive water. For this reason, we use balanced irrigation. Fungal diseases and chlorosis can occur as a result of excessive irrigation. This information is given to us by our agricultural consultants. Fatsa District Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry officials are always with us to support us.''
