Research greenhouse with automatic control realised in Ethiopia

At the beginning of the new year 2021, Eng. Elias has prepared a lot for a new year plan and now he organized his team to start the implementation at his schedule. In Addis Ababa a new research greenhouse will appear with automatic controls, which will be used for growing different plants in the countryside of Addis Ababa. This is a bold attempt.

As we know, Ethiopia is a beautiful country with unique climate which is perfect for flower and vegetables growing and it is one of the most important flower and vegetable bases for Europe and Middle-east. So the acreage of simple film greenhouses has spread out in the past 10 years and now the total area has reached thousands hectares.

However, modern agriculture has changed a lot in the past 10 years, which brings more and more improvements. Eng. Elias wants to jump out of the common mode and try to use higher automation in the new research greenhouse which included automatic climate control and fertigation system.

Now the construction of the greenhouse has gone forward smoothly under the remote supervision of Kingpeng engineers and the a high-level greenhouse has appeared in one and half month.

In the past 5 years, Kingpeng has supplied more hectares of greenhouse and related equipment and system for him and now projects are becoming bigger and bigger and the growing technology scope has included aquaponic, hydroponic, seasonal growing etc..

This farm has played a very important role in the local food and vegetable supply shortage during the COVID-19 epidemic in 2020 and now as the big farm which is supported by Royal of Bahrain, it will support the local safe vegetable and food supply chain to run better and better and Kingpeng will keep providing best products and services for them.

On the basis of Kingpeng high quantity product and service, Abdulaziz could move his attention from the test growing 5 year ago and now start with the comprehensive growing management of the whole farm which includes several different kind of greenhouses (PC sheet greenhouse, film greenhouse, tunnel greenhouse, net greenhouse) from Kingpeng.
