Cinnerate expands use for aphid & disease control in vegetables

Sym-Agro’s Cinnerate broad-spectrum insecticide, fungicide and miticide gives vegetable growers a new tool to protect their crops from disease, aphids and more.

“Aphids can present a significant challenge for vegetable growers, especially organic growers, who have limited options,” says Peter Bierma, President of Sym-Agro. “Cinnerate quickly controls all life stages on contact.”

Cinnerate shows very high knock-down efficacy at 45-64 oz./100 gal. and can be used in place of soap, neem or oil-based pesticides. It is soft on beneficial predators, helping balance integrated pest management systems with pest control.

In addition, Cinnerate provides broad-spectrum disease control and a multi-site mode of action with fungicidal activity toward all life stages.

Cinnerate provides broad-spectrum control of diseases including Alternaria leaf spot, Anthracnose, bacterial leaf blight, early blight, Fusarium, gray mold, powdery mildew, rust, white mold (Sclerotinia spp.) and more. It provides activity toward spores, mycelium and hyphae, for effective disease prevention and control. With the growing incidence of fungicide resistance and the potential for gaps in disease control, Cinnerate provides a reliable option for in-season pest control.

Cinnerate is an OMRI-listed biopesticide with more than seven years of commercial use in high-value fruits, nuts and vine crops. It has a 0-day PHI and is MRL exempt, so it can be used up to the day of harvest. This also allows treated vegetables to be safely exported to all countries.
