One thing is for sure: the way humanity will deal with resources in times of climate change will have to change significantly in the future - away from the naked consumption of resources, towards sustainable solutions. Additional irrigation
Adequate water supply is a prerequisite for high and stable agricultural yields. Especially in potato and vegetable production as well as for special crops, rainwater alone is usually no longer sufficient. In these cases, it is only possible to achieve the best possible qualities and high production volumes on the affected areas by additional irrigation.
Only with a secure water supply, a healthy crop development can be achieved, with all resources used at peak efficiency. The prevention of drought damage also improves the climate balance of the crops produced. Drip irrigation can bring about a decisive improvement in yield and quality, especially in periods of pronounced dry periods in critical growth and development phases.
