A health and safety advisory Wednesday warned people not to use marijuana cultivated by Colorado Wellness Centers because unapproved pesticides were found on some plants.
The company, which also does business as Lush, had plants with traces of the pesticide pyriproxyfen on them, according to the Wednesday afternoon bulletin by the Colorado Department of Agriculture and the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment.
Affected products include marijuana flower, trim, concentrates and infused products, the advisory says. Anyone who has these affected products should return them to the medical center for proper disposal, the bulletin said.
