US (NY): Square Roots launches sequel to entrepreneur program

Square Roots is now accepting applications for Season 2 of the Square Roots Resident Entrepreneur Program. During the 13-month program, 10 dedicated individuals have access to the full Square Roots platform—a campus of hydroponic controlled-climate farms, specialized programming, and an engaged community network.

Resident Entrepreneurs will be encouraged to work in teams of two to execute a Farming Business Plan, and throughout the year, they will participate in a curriculum consisting of skill-based training, professional development plans, and experiential learning in the four pillars of Farming, Business, Community, and Leadership.

Graduates of the Resident Entrepreneur Program are positioned to pursue careers in real food, launch their own businesses, or even become members of the Square Roots core team. To learn more about Season 1 entrepreneurs, check out this article by Co-Founder Kimbal Musk.

Submissions are due July 31, 2017. Click here for more information and to apply.
