Over the past year, Lab Associates, a global supplier for plant science laboratories and plant-based industries, has focused on expanding their product offering to cater to a larger audience in the plant world, something they are eager to show during the upcoming GreenTech 2023 in Amsterdam.

Some of the newest additions to their products are, for example, climatic chambers, available in different spectra, volumes, and features like light intensity, temperature, and humidity. In addition to climatic chambers, they will also be showcasing some new models of sterilization ovens and incubators.

Other interesting products Lab Associates recently added are some common equipment used for PCR analyses, like centrifuges, vortex mixers, shakers, and electronic pipettes. All of the equipment is quite versatile in terms of features, so they can find a suitable option for every laboratory and application.

The company has also updated their (new) range of automatic and semi-automatic, sterile, and non-sterile media dispensers. Systems that the company has already had in the market for a few years now but is always trying to find new and creative ways to improve upon.
One of the more time-consuming and labor-intensive processes in the lab is media dispensing, especially if you need to dispense small quantities of media into thousands of test tubes. For this reason, the R&D team over at Lab Associates has developed several new systems, both sterile to be used with the Lab Associates’ media preparator and non-sterile to be used for dispensing into tubes before autoclaving.
For reference, the semi-automatic non-sterile media dispenser can dispense into a whole 6x8 tube rack in ca. 60 seconds. Done manually, this process can take up to 5 minutes! They have also been working on a system that can be used to dispense into different types of cultivation consumables. You will have to visit their stand 05.314 at GreenTech to see it!

Lab Associates will also be showcasing the new light spectra of the leaf (cultivation) carriers, a growth rack with multiple layers, and diffused LED panels for equal light distribution and minimal heat generation.

After a successful exhibition at IPM Essen in January, their next stop is GreenTech 2023 in Amsterdam, where Lab Associates can be found in hall 5 at stand number 05.314.
