US (KY): Elizabethtown Council to hold hearing on proposed greenhouse

Elizabethtown Town Council has scheduled a public hearing Monday, April 3, during its regularly scheduled monthly meeting on a proposed development of a light industrial park catering to a controlled environment agriculture that will include an 80-acre greenhouse.

The meeting is set to begin at 7 p.m. at Town Hall, located at 805 West Broad Street. The meeting is open to the public.

The development also will include a supporting light industrial area and a supporting residential area for fresh produce, supporting a light industrial area at 3307 NC 87 West. The proposal is being made by MainSyde & Huntley Farms and L. Huntley.
