Fertilizer producer returns to profit after huge loss in 2021

Fertilizer producer Rosier has announced its 2022 financial figures. The operating result improved compared to 2021, despite war and energy woes. At 825 thousand euros, a small profit was achieved. A loss of almost 37 million euros was recorded back in 2021.

Rosier has now passed into Turkish hands. This was announced on 2 January 2023. Yildirim Group is the new majority shareholder with 98.09% of the shares. It is a Turkish industrial conglomerate that already operates in the fertilizer industry, in addition to metals, ports, energy, and coal, among others. The Turks acquired the shares from Borealis AG.
