"Vitec has a strong position and broad expertise in vertical market software and has a great understanding of energy forecasting and optimization domains," said John Kruijt, CEO of Enova. "As a company, we believe it is essential to have a long-term owner dedicated to driving our growth and development. With Vitec, I am confident that we can continue to build on our performance and enhance Enova's offering to the benefit of our customers and employees both now and in the future."
"Enova is an innovative energy solutions provider with a great knowledge of its customers' needs and flexibility," said Olle Backman, CEO of Vitec Software Group. "With this knowledge, Enova has been able to build a virtual power plant that provides independent grid balancing services to grid operators based on the flexible capacity of its customers, offering attractive added value," said Olle Backman, CEO of Vitec Software Group. Energy forecasting and optimization have been part of Vitec's offering from the beginning.
