The International Forum of Agricultural Robotics - FIRA - and the magazine Future Farming awarded the Prize for the best robot concept 2020 to Tevel Aerobotics Technologies, during FIRA 2020 on December 10.
Engineers and passionate inventors from all around the world work hard to develop field robots that work to improve the lives of farmers, while reducing the use of phytosanitary products and greenhouse gas emissions. Thus, the Best Concept Field Robot 2020 is the election of the most original robot, and which has the potential to concretely
contribute to increased and sustainable food production.
An independent jury made up of Future Farming, GOFAR, and Wageningen University selected 3 finalists among the 10 best robot projects. Therefore, the public voted online to elect the overall winner,
Tevel Aerobotics Technologies. The Best Concept Field Robot prize was awarded by René Koerhuis, machinery journalist at Future Farming, during of FIRA 2020, on December 10.
