Speed up crop rotation by cleaning water system during cultivation

Cleaning the water system during the cultivation is receiving more attention in recent years. And rightfully so, says Harm Vogels from Intracare in Veghel, the Netherlands. “If you keep the water system clean during cultivation with the right products, you will be ready much quicker during the crop rotation. Furthermore, you do not need to use chlorine or nitric acid and the volume of wastewater is much lower."

Vogels knows what he is talking about. Together with his colleagues, he has in recent years monitored several nurseries that keep their water system clean year-round with silver-stabilized hydrogen peroxide Intra Hydrocare, which the company produces entirely in-house.

They use Intra Hydrocare to prevent biofilm buildup from happening in the system. Keeping the systems clean this way during growing means that cleaning them during the crop change is no longer necessary.
