Students at Western Christian High School in Hull, Iowa, are about to get some real-life agricultural experience. A new greenhouse is being built for their agriculture program.
“The greenhouse offers us an opportunity to get our hands-on learning. To feel, to smell, to do learning. And I think it opens up the door to innovate,” said Brian Verwolf, Western Christian High School Administrator.
Kylie Miller, an agriculture instructor at Western Christian High School, said the greenhouse is 18 feet wide by 42 feet long. She said there will be several tables, with water lines, a head house, and it will be heated during the winter months.
