"Growing blueberries in pots guarantees a significant increase in yield"

Nuova Pasquini e Bini S.p.a. is an Italian company that makes products for plant nurseries and home gardening, with more than 50 years of experience in the plastic molding sector. The company has invested heavily in research, in molds planning and design starting from the customer’s needs, to optimize the cultivation of plants in containers.

The latest collection from the company is Eracle, and these pots are very suitable containers for blueberries.

Growing any variety of blueberries in pots guarantees a significant increase in production yield, and the choice of the pot can make the difference. With an optimal mix of acidic soil, coco fibre and perlite, the soil structure is not a problem anymore.

Eracle design ensures the right oxygenation to the root system and avoids water excesses, the main cause of rotting roots, which in turn favors the formation of an unhealthy environment for the plant.

The bottom of the pot remains distant from the ground (up to 4 cm) allowing the plant to "breathe" and facilitating the drainage of water through the numerous drain holes.

Using the right substrate, the water dosage will always be optimal. The introflections of the walls favor a growth and a correct expansion of the roots with an anti-rooting action.

The material used (post-consumer regenerated black polyethylene, free of environmentally harmful components and resistant also in those climatic conditions with considerable temperature variations in the same day) gives elasticity to the pot and guarantees a long life.

Among the products of Nuova Pasquini e Bini, there are many pots particularly suitable for the cultivation of blueberries, like square and round pots Ercole, the Vega collection and heavy duty containers.
