Effective in January 2019, Georgius Gotsis takes the leading position at Eleven Rivers Growers. Mr. Gotsis is an economist at the Pomona College, CA; and a member of a family with an agriculture tradition in Sinaloa. He has had some management positions at the family farm, both Agricola Gotsis and Omega Produce.
Mr. Gotsis has had the opportunity to work in different growers associations not only locally, but also nationwide; in 2014, he became the General Coordinator of Commercial Development and Export Promotion, of the Agencia de Servicios a la Comercialización y Desarrollo de Mercados Agropecuarios (Agency of Marketing Services and Development of Agricultural Markets). He has also been involved in various boards of directors, such as the Asociación de Agricultores del Río Culiacán (Growers Association of Culiacan), Advisor at Pro Educa A.C. and board member at Nueva Agroindustrias del Norte.
He has also collaborated as a local media columnist in publications such as Bien Informado, El Debate, and Noroeste.
