The Blackmore team has developed a special seeder designed for the Ellepot machine. "The seeder is ideal for sowing hemp seed making it easy and lowers the need for labor as it reduces the steps in the production cycle", the team explains.
"The Ellepot, when used in the Ellepot AIR-tray, is ideal for field transplants as it stimulates good root growth with no girdling roots", Lars Jensen with Blackmore explains. "The Ellepot landscape membrane makes it easy to work with any field transplanter. If panting manually it cuts the time with about 50%."
According to the team, the Ellepot product using the landscape membrane is already a good success as the cost of producing your own stabilized media is many times 1/3 of buying it in.
The Blackmore seeder will enable grower to precisely sow the Ellepots as they are made. "If more than one seed in the pot is needed this is not an issue either", Lars shows. "It works great with coir and coir mixes and it works with the peat/wood mixes easily also. The seeder works well for the hydroponic producer also as it is possible to sow 1 seed, 3 different seed or up to 40 seed per cell."
