With a new location in Munich's Freimann district, Landgard eG will more than double its storage and logistics capacities in the Munich area for region South. At the same time, the new modern location has numerous other advantages, as Jürgen Hübner, Managing Director of Landgard Obst & Gemüse GmbH Kehl, explains: "Thanks to its location in Munich's Freimann district, which is centrally and very conveniently situated, the new location offers us optimal conditions for future growth and better logistics processes than before.''
Successful cooperative marketing
''On about 2,000 square meters, we can store the goods of our producers very conveniently thanks to energy-efficient cooling technology. Thanks to the good access to important traffic routes like the A9 and A99 motorways as well as the B13 federal road, fresh fruit and vegetables will now reach the shelves of our trading partners even faster," he said.
The entire logistics and storage area has several separate climatic zones with temperature ranges from +2 to +12 degrees Celsius. In addition to this, there are several office and social spaces at the location for the successful co-operative marketing of the products of Landgard producers and for the handling and support of all necessary services.
Added value along the entire value chain
For customers, producers and partners of producer co-operative Landgard the move will not result in any administrative changes. The well-known contact persons will continue to be at people's disposal at Landgard Süd's new location, to answer any questions. "With the new location, we will be able to make even better use of the proximity to producers and customers in the southern region, in order to offer value-added services for all parties along the entire value chain - regional, national and international", says Armin Rehberg, CEO of Landgard eG.
