South Africa: Philippi households to get lessons on hydroponics

About 40 households from Philippi and the surrounding areas will be trained how to use a newly developed hydroponics vegetable garden.

It's an initiative between Fresh Life Produce, Food Lovers Market and Investec which will be piloted in the Western Cape.

Director of Fresh Life Produce Louis-Gillis Janse van Rensburg says these households will be given 50 plants each to start the vegetable gardens.
