Tomato grower Frank van Kleef: "Last year's group replacement has proven itself during the season. The initial failure of the lamps is lower than what we are used to, and in addition, the quality and life span are excellent. The Aruna prints we now have tested work well and on the basis of the trial results we feel that we have made the right choice with these electronics. We are not completely changing everything yet because we want to see first if the electronics will continue to function well during the second season, but based on the first results, we deem it acceptable to expand the trial with two thousand units."

"The main reason we have been looking for a new supplier is that we are not satisfied with the quality of the current electronics. The fact that the ballasts of Aruna Holland are also quite a bit cheaper is an added benefit," said Van Kleef.

"The systems are electrically and mechanically fully compatible with existing fixtures and can be used during group replacement without any problem. Besides, the user does not have to worry about any warranty terms, as we also provide our warranty when using electronic ballast in conjunction with lamps of another brand. Although we prefer that customers choose our lamp of course," concludes Van Velzen with a smile.

Behind the scenes, Aruna Holland is also working hard on digital dimmable systems, which, among others, can be used in combination with LED fixtures. This creates a flexible system that optimizes the right combination of light, light color and heat radiation throughout the season.
