Russia: 282 million-dollar greenhouse complex to be built near Voronezh

Eko Kultura LLC, an agricultural and industrial holding from the Stavropol region, intends to construct another high technological greenhouse complex in the Bobrovsky district located in the Russian region of Voronezh. The project is estimated at 18 billion rubles ($282 million).

As Construction.RU was told that the investment project was approved by the regional governor Alexey Gordeev, following a meeting with the founder of Eko Kultura LLC, Andrey Petrenko, held on the 23rd of November.

The area of the greenhouse complex is expected to reach 60 hectares.

After the works are completed at the construction site, over 900 jobs will be created at the enterprise. The facility will be capable to raise 37,000 tons of vegetables per year.
