A growers dream: Tomato Vine Scented Candle

It's almost a shame that the holidays are behind us because this gift should be on everyone's wish list. A Tomato Scented Candle - who wouldn’t want that?

Flowers, sandalwood, orange, vanilla, fruit - scented candles have been popular for a few years now and you'd think by now most fragrances are also known. However the manufacturers can still regularly surprise. It seems that there is a wide variety of tomato-scented candles available.

At Amazon you can let your home smell of tomatoes for nine dollars. Online description: "The clean, spicy scent of tomato leaves. The particular smell that occurs when you rub tomato leaves between your fingers." The candle is made in the USA and is GMO-free.

For those with a larger budget True Grace's candle is a must. For £16 the smell of the fruit is included besides the leaf smell: "Think of tomatoes ripening slowly and thickening nicely on the vine."

For no-limit budgets high-end brand Jo Malone also has a tomato-scented candle on offer. For a mere 42 pounds you can buy a real quality product: a scented candle with the scent of greenhouse tomatoes! "Earth, leaves and sun," the description reads. "Crisp and with a green stem, spiked with Artemisia, fruity thanks to greenhouses and resting on a cushion of moss. Spicy and suggestive."
