US (MA): Olson's Greenhouses in Raynham receives $25,000 grant

Senate President Pro Tempore Marc R. Pacheco, D-Taunton, announced that the administration of Gov. Charlie Baker has awarded farms in the First Plymouth and Bristol District agricultural energy grants to implement renewable energy systems and improve energy efficiency on their land, including Olson’s Greenhouses Inc. in Raynham, which received $25,000 for greenhouse controls.

A total of 25 grants were given, totaling $500,000. The Agricultural Energy Grant Program is one of several within DAR’s Division of Agricultural Conservation and Technical Assistance (DACTA). The division’s mission is to provide technical assistance, training, conservation and funding to promote economically viable and environmentally-sound agricultural practices in Massachusetts.
