"Time Square of urban farming in The Hague, the Netherlands"

Certhon takes part on the Opinion Leader Forum (OLF) on the 5th of November in The Hague. The forum is hosted by Urban Farmers to engage decision makers, innovators and investors from the food industry and beyond. Primary aim is to discuss innovation in commercial food production in light of the “Eat the City”.

Urban Farmers intends to create the “Time Square of Urban Farming” at the De Schilde building in The Hague, not coincidentally the place of the OLF. In this inspiring building Urban Farmers have invited marketleading, innovative companies from horticulture to share their vision about commercial food production in urban settings. In particular Certhon will participate with Koppert Biological, Philips, Priva and Rijk Zwaan.

Commercial Director Mike Vermeij will represent Certhon during an introduction round with Mark Durno, UF Director Benelux at the event . Durno is delighted about Certhons’ participation in the consortium. “For UF it was a natural reason to invite Certhon, because of their leading position in innovative turnkey projects around the globe”.

It is possible to visit the OLF in The Hague on the 5th of November of 14 till 19 p.m. Registrations can be made by sending an email to [email protected].
