Belgium: Licensed tomato seed from Stoffels is missing, might be stolen
What exactly happened is still unclear. A complaint was filed and there is therefore an investigating is taking place. It might be possible that the seed has been stolen by another grower with the intent to grow the variety illegal.
It is a real chance that plant propagators will be contacted to determine whether the stolen seed has not been presented to them or already grown.
In the interest of the current research Stoffels may not give further details. If anyone is being approached with suspicious seed, please contact Paul Stoffels via paul@stoffels-tomaten.be or at 0032 495 25 00 23
