Agragex, the Spanish Exporters Association of Agricultural Machinery and its components, Greenhouses and Crop Protection, Irrigation Systems, Livestock Equipment, Nutrition and Animal Health, is one of the supporting partners of the first edition of GreenTech show, that will be held from today, June 10th to 12th. Agragex shall be part of the show with a group of Spanish manufacturers that will showcase innovative solutions for a sustainable horticulture.
Spanish demanding marketplace in horticulture business has made its equipment providers to develop state of the art technologies to give an answer. The greenhouse production in Spain has the largest extensions of production under plastic in the world, with extreme growing conditions. This is the reason why the Spanish industry is known for its continuous innovation and creativity, always looking for new solutions.
Figures from Spanish Greenhouses and Crop Protection trade sector report 624 M€ in exports on 2013. France, Portugal, Italy, Mexico and Germany are the main clients. Netherlands is positioned the 9th in this ranking and imported around 22 M€ on 2013.
A group of Spanish manufacturers, supported by Agragex, will attend GreenTech and give out the main assets of Spanish industry: advanced technology and great adaptability to specific requirements. Spanish companies want to promote their advanced and adaptive products.
Agragex will provide complete information about the Spanish industry and companies to GreenTech visitors, featuring its strengths and competitive advantages, like its great flexibility. They can produce small series of equipment attending some markets where big multinationals are unable to serve due to their inflexible production lines. Nothing can be more sustainable than to use the most adapted system or equipment, something that can reduce costs and improve productivity.
Spanish companies will showcase interesting novelties at GreenTech, such as exceptional insulation and long life protection films; bio-plastics, sustainable heating and cooling systems, photovoltaic greenhouses, hydroponic facilities…
