Van Drunen Farms (VDF) added IQF Tomato to its product offerings, for convenience and flavor with high vitamin and nutrient content. VDF's IQF Tomato is available in multiple dice sizes and can be purchased as oven-roasted or fire-roasted for additional flavor. Sliced IQF Grape Tomato is also offered, along with samples of sliced IQF Roma Tomato on an R&D basis.
The product pairs well with oregano, chives, tarragon, thyme, parsley, dill, basil and other spices. Suggested applications include frozen pizza, salsa, salads, sandwiches and wraps, pasta sauces and bruschetta.
Earlier this year, VDF launched a variety of freeze-dried ingredients, including Freeze-Dried Lime Powder and Freeze-Dried Beans.
