Soft NW was founded in 1974, and it is an Italian company specializing in the production and distribution of 100% spunbonded propylene non-woven fabric. Thanks to its special technology, Soft NW can design and produce high-performing non-woven fabrics that enable the company to work in the high end of the market.
"The isotropic qualities of the Agrisoft and Lutrasil non-woven fabrics mean they are resistant to tearing in both directions. When used for crop protection, they create a barrier against frost and, thanks to their lightweight, they can be placed directly on top of the crops, helping their development and hastening growth," reads a company note.
In addition, the product is resistant to UV rays and does not lose its features when applied. Its main characteristics include protection against frost and excessive temperature variations, increase of production cycles throughout the year, good air circulation, and protection against insects and parasites.
It also boasts high resistance to extreme temperatures, excellent water permeability, and limited water retention, thus minimizing damage to the crop below.
"The various fabrics are available in 17, 19, 23, and 30 grams/sq m for crop covering and in 50 and 60 grams/sq m for mulching. Width between 1 and 28.5 m and length between 100 and 1250 m. They are provided in packaged rolls with a width of 1,60, 2,05, 2,25, and 3,20 meters. The standard width and length are always in stock, no minimum quantity for delivery needed, and full truck loadings up to 10 tons. Available in a neutral color for crop coverings and in black for mulching."
