Royal Brinkman Canada has appointed Mohammed Antar (PhD, P.Ag) as Head of the Agronomy Department. With over 15 years of experience in agricultural research and development, Mohammed will play a key role in helping growers enhance crop productivity and quality through innovative, science-based solutions.
Mohammed earned his Ph.D. in Plant Science (Agronomy) from McGill University in 2024, following an MSc. from the University of Manchester and a BSc. from Salahaddin University-Erbil. His expertise spans agronomy, microbe-coated fertilizers, nutrient management, sustainable agriculture, and biological products such as biostimulants and PGPR inoculants.
Prior to joining Royal Brinkman Canada, Mohammed worked as a Research Associate in McGill University's Department of Natural Resource Sciences, managing agronomic trials, lab operations, and research personnel within the Soil Ecology Research Group.
A published researcher with 14 scientific articles and active participation in global conferences, Mohammed brings both deep technical knowledge and a collaborative spirit to the team.
