On June 10th, the Plant Empowerment Academy and World Horti Center will jointly organize two knowledge sessions on how Plant Empowerment and Digital Growing can help to grow more sustainably. In one and a half hours, participants will learn more about the basic principles of Plant Empowerment. Costs are €105 per person, afterwards, participants will receive a copy of the book 'Plant Empowerment – Digital Growing'. These sessions are primarily organized for international visitors, but Dutch visitors are more than welcome to join, spoken language will be English.
What is Plant Empowerment?
Plant Empowerment is an innovative way of growing crops in greenhouses. It is a data-driven cultivation method based on physiology and physics, leading to higher yields and better quality. In addition, it ensures the efficient use of nutrients, water, and energy.
Why knowledge sessions?
Many growers want to implement this new sustainable way of Digital Growing in their company but do not know exactly how or are still unsure about it. During the knowledge sessions, two of the founders and authors, Peter Geelen and Jan Voogt, will introduce participants of the knowledge session to Plant Empowerment, next they will answer all questions. Afterward, participants will receive a copy of the book so they can start applying the principles in practice. The sessions are primarily organized for international visitors, but Dutch visitors are more than welcome to join, spoken language will be English.
Practical information
The knowledge sessions are organized on Monday, June 10th at the start of the GreenTech and FlowerTrials week. There will be two sessions, one in the morning from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM and one in the afternoon from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM. Costs are €105 excluding VAT per person, afterwards the book 'Plant Empowerment – Digital Growing' with a value of €75.00 will be handed out. Want to subscribe?
