Jiffy is launching a new sphagnum moss peat-free Jiffy Pot. This latest member of Jiffy Pot range is free from peat and plastic. Ideal for hydroponics, it's suited to crops including young plants and trees, herbs and vegetables, soft fruit, and wine grapes.
The sphagnum moss peat-free Jiffy Pot is strong and long-lasting, yet it's 100% compostable. It also retains other qualities of the rest of the range:

- Quick take-off after transplanting
- Pot-and-all transplantation saves labor and minimizes transplant shock
Jiffy's Innovation Center set out to create a pot to help meet consumer demand and comply with new laws around peat-free growing solutions.
Sphagnum moss is an all-natural, renewable resource. The moss is gathered using a unique technology that ensures only part of the living plant is taken. The method returns extracted water to the wetland and leaves plentiful spores for new moss to grow.
