Quadrotor Services Ltd (QRS) and Dejex Supplies Ltd (Dejex) have finalised an agreement that will see both firms working together to establish drone spraying services in horticulture and agriculture.
QRS is a UK provider of innovative drone spraying and spreading services. Dejex is a family-owned business based in Lincolnshire specialising in the supply of products and technical services to the commercial horticulture industry.
"The QRS - Dejex partnership provides the first fully integrated supply chain for Drone spraying services in the UK", the teams say. "QRS have expertise in the Civil Aviation Authority regulations to carry out spraying with drones, trained pilots and operational experience. Dejex provide expertise in the application of products as well as BASIS and FACTS trained team to support regulated products as CRD provide approvals. This will allow Dejex to fully support QRS with their rapidly expanding greenhouse shading and cleaning contracting work."
According to the companies, drones have the potential to transform agricultural practices in the UK, enhancing the efficiency and precision of spraying and spreading with the power of AI technology. "Equipped with advanced sensors, GPS technology, and intelligent flight control systems, QRS drones are faster, more efficient and more precise than traditional methods."
