Demo greenhouses often feature products from competitor companies to prove to operators how a variety is better performing than others despite the same growing conditions. This is precisely what Seeds Technologies has done as it welcomed stakeholders to a facility that is hosting a new pre-commercial plum tomato variety - 12295 F1.

The promotional activities of Seeds Technologies Italia continue at a fast pace. The company organizes technical visits in Vittoria and Pachino (Sicily), but it also constantly communicates on international professional channels.
12295 F1 plum tomatoes
Crop specialist Emanuele Marino talked about a transplant carried out on October 25, 2023, in the Vittoria demo facility. "We are showcasing this product again and again because it always stands out from the competition. Plants are strong with green leaves and they are resistant to diseases. The setting and bunch formation are excellent. Fruits never lose their shape despite temperature changes and they maintain a considerable shine."

"We wanted to focus on plum tomatoes, involving traders and nurseries. We dedicated a whole week to them in the Vittoria area. If anyone interested could find the time to come and see them, we will do the same in Pachino," explained Stefano Recupero, Team Coordinator at Seeds Tec.
Tec Seeds technician Pierantonio Ferro showcases the production continuity in the top branches.
"Most producers are testing 12295 F1 themselves and they confirmed the very positive characteristics we witnessed in our greenhouse. This is very important to us, as it proves that what we are seeing occurs not only in our greenhouses but also in areas with different conditions. This means this is a safe and adaptable product with a very homogeneous performance."
