Ukrainian farmers are securing grants for seedling greenhouse development

In the Rivne region, farmers have recently been granted funding through the 'Own Business' program for a seedling greenhouse, as reported by the press service of the Rivne Regional State Administration.

The Kravets family in Rivne has ventured into greenhouse farming, cultivating various flowers and vegetables. Co-owner of the farm, Igor Kravets, approached the Rivne Regional Employment Center and secured a microgrant for business development. The entrepreneurs plan to expand their areas for seedling cultivation of vegetables such as tomatoes, peppers, and cabbage. They are also considering experimenting with growing watermelons.

The allocated funds will be used to construct a new greenhouse and upgrade the heating system. The framework for the future greenhouse is already in place, and a powerful heating boiler has been acquired.

Nearly EUR 462,000 has been disbursed to eight agricultural enterprises for orchards, berry farms, vineyards, and greenhouse farming development as part of the government's grant program to support small and medium-sized businesses.
