Snack challenge for speeding drivers

Drivers in Marathon, Florida, are being dealt with in a special way for speeding in school zones. When a driver is caught for minor speeding violations, the police offer them the choice of an onion or a standard traffic fine. According to the police, most drivers prefer the onion to a fine, and there are even people who eat the onion on the spot.
