Dr Shoshan Haran, founder of NGO Fair Planet, which supports and helps disadvantaged communities with agri-knowledge and tech transfer, has been kidnapped from her house in Be'eri, southern Israel, and taken into Gaza. The NGO has released the following statement. "We learned earlier today (Oct 10) that Dr. Shoshan Haran was abducted from her home in Beeri into Gaza, together with several family members (including two granddaughters)."
"Dr. Haran established Fair Planet in 2012, an NGO attempting to help create food security in developing nations. Many African (including Muslim) countries have enjoyed Dr. Haran's developments and projects and hundreds of thousands of people, from the most vulnerable areas in the world, are fed based on Dr. Haran's activities."
