From September 3 to 5, Beijing Sino-agricultural Biosciences Co., Ltd., a manufacturer and seller of temperature and humidity loggers, participated in the Asia Fruit Logistica in Hong Kong. The company launched the Metech disposable USB temperature logger at this exhibition.
According to Siya, the sales manager of Beijing Sino-agricultural Biosciences, "Metech's disposable logger adopts food-grade packaging and is safe and waterproof. The logger is very convenient to use. Customers only need to plug the device into the computer, and a PDF temperature report will be automatically generated without going through any software or reader. When talking about the advantages of the product, Siya said, "The main advantage is that it is cost-effective and can meet the basic needs of merchants. The USB temperature logger is non-networked and is 6 to 10 times cheaper than the 4G series products."
"The 4G series is not perfect enough, and the network is not large enough to cover every area. Especially in the unstable environment of the chip industry, manufacturing costs have increased. Therefore, we suspended the sales of 4G products at the beginning of last year and focused on the promotion and sales of the basic Metech. The sales of our Metech disposable USB temperature loggers have continued to grow in recent years," Siya said. "In addition to the cost-effectiveness advantage, we use TI digital temperature sensors, which have high data accuracy and high consistency. The temperature measurement range of this product is -30 °C～+70°C, the accuracy is within the range of ±0.5°C/0.9°F, and the temperature measurement resolution can reach 0.01°C/°F. The maximum capacity of this recorder is 14,400 records, and the maximum recording period is 120 days."
This is the first time Beijing Sino-agricultural Biosciences Co., Ltd. has participated in a large-scale exhibition since the pandemic. "We obviously feel that the number of exhibitors and visitors has increased significantly during this exhibition. We are very happy to meet new and old customers, and the meeting schedule was very full. Unfortunately, the exhibition was canceled on the third day due to weather conditions, and some customers scheduled for the third day were not seen."
When talking about the market supply and demand expectations for temperature and humidity loggers in the future, Siya said, "With the decline in sea freight and the arrival of the peak fruit season in the southern hemisphere, the market demand for temperature and humidity loggers has also increased. Our current sales have nearly doubled compared to the same period last year."
