Ukrainian Government approved grant applications for 20 hectares of greenhouses

Due to the military actions in Ukraine, 40% of greenhouses have stopped working, and others continue to work with less production output. To counter this, the Ukrainian Government has approved grand applications to many producers in the country.

Taras Vysotskyi, the First Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food for Ukraine, commented, "Applications take 2-3 months, so agricultural producers have actively started submitting applications in October-November 2022. Under this program, it is possible to finance projects for several hundred greenhouses."

Due to the current lack of electricity, it is not possible to accelerate the growth of seedlings, which affects the volume of fruits and vegetables grown and reduces the supply on the market. However, as of yet, there is no shortage, but greenhouse enterprises are currently teetering on the verge of profitability.
