In particular, producers of berries, vegetables, and aquaculture products from Lvivska oblast, producers of the geographical indications "Hutsulska Sheep Bryndzya," "Hutsulska Cow Bryndza," Honey Zakarpattia, and small winemakers from Zakarpatska oblast, producers of the geographical indications "Hutsulska Sheep Bryndzya" and "Hutsulska Cow bryndza" from Ivano-Frankivska and Chernivetska oblasts, can participate in the program.
FAO representatives will help participants prepare business plans and will provide practical recommendations on how to fill out applications through the State Agrarian Registry.
The grant program is part of a broader effort within the framework of the EU-funded project and aims to support the functioning and strengthening of value chains in agriculture, fisheries, and forestry, as well as to support their adaptation to the new environment. This is necessary to meet the food needs of the local and displaced population in the west and to address food insecurity in other parts of the country in the immediate and short term.
