Strong presence of white fly doesn't help

ToLCNDV emerges in China

The first official announcement has been made of the discovery of the Tomato Leaf Curl New Delhi Virus (ToLCNDV) in China. It was discovered in august 2021 in a tomato greenhouse in the Zhejiang province. The crops in the 0.5 hectares greenhouse started showing symptoms. A PCR test confirmed the presence of the virus. In their November update, the European and Mediterranean Plant Protection Organization (EPPO) said that because of the widespread presence of the white fly (Bemisia tabaci), ToLCNDV is a potential danger for tomato cultivation in China.
